Yes, Legacy Signature Rentals accepts corporate leases. A company or LLC can lease any of our brand-new townhomes in North Carolina or Texas for its employees, with the business as the tenant on the lease and the people who live there screened through our regular application. This article explains what a corporate lease is, who uses one, how our pre-approval works, and what to send us to get started.
What is a corporate lease?
A corporate lease is a residential lease signed by a business rather than by the person who will live in the home. The company is responsible for rent and the lease terms; its employee, contractor or executive occupies the home. Companies use corporate leases for relocations, project assignments, rotating crews and extended business travel, because a private home costs less than months of hotel rooms and feels far more like living somewhere.
It is different from short-term "corporate housing" bundles sold by the night. With Legacy, the home is a real townhome in a real neighbourhood, on a lease sized to the assignment, and the company deals with one landlord, one invoice and one local team.
Who uses corporate leases with Legacy Signature Rentals?
- Employers relocating staff to the Catawba Valley or Central Texas who want a move-in-ready home waiting on day one.
- Contractors and project teams that need several homes in one community for the length of a job, near Fort Cavazos, the Hickory furniture and fibre plants, or the Temple and Waco medical hubs.
- Healthcare systems and travel-nurse agencies placing clinicians on 13-week or longer assignments.
- Companies hosting executives or visiting specialists who would otherwise spend weeks in a hotel.
What a corporate-leased Legacy home includes
Every Legacy Signature home is a brand-new two or three bedroom townhome built and managed by the same local team. Corporate residents get exactly what every resident gets:
- Carpet-free interiors, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances
- An attached garage and, in most communities, a private fenced backyard
- 24-hour maintenance and a resident portal for requests and communication
- Pet-friendly homes, subject to the community's pet policy
- Communities in Hickory, Conover and Newton, NC and in Temple, Waco and Belton, TX
How corporate pre-approval works
Because the lease is entered into under an LLC or corporate entity, we review the company rather than an individual's credit. Your HR or company administrator sends us the pre-approval package: the company's legal name, state of formation and EIN; formation documents and a current Certificate of Good Standing; a W-9; the Operating Agreement or other proof of who is authorized to sign; ID and contact details for that signer; and recent business bank statements and financials.
We also ask a few questions about how the home will be used: whether occupants stay the same for the whole term or rotate, whether the company intends to sublease (it may not without written agreement), whether any business activity will be conducted from the home, and who should receive lease notices and maintenance communications. With a complete package, review and lease preparation usually take a few business days.
Do the employees still need to apply?
Yes. Every individual who will actually live in the home applies through our regular channels, just like any other resident. The company's pre-approval covers the lease and the finances; the occupant application covers who is living there. That protects the employee, the company and the neighbours, and it is what lets us welcome corporate leases in every community.
